Five years ago last August I investigated Christian Science
Five years ago last August I investigated Christian Science. At that time I was ailing with bowel disorder of eighteen years' standing. This difficulty was conquered with one audible treatment. Grief over a dear one was overcome after having a few talks with the practitioner.
Three years ago last June my son was run over. His arm was said to be broken in several places and his thigh fractured. The specialist told me that the injured leg would be three or four inches shorter than the other, that the boy would have to use crutches for some time, and that it would be at least six months before he could walk. He also told members of my family that my son would never be able to use his arm again. I looked at the doctor and felt that he was doing his best. At the same time I mentally declared the truth of being, and the words from Isaiah came to me, "Fear not: for I am with thee." With Christian Science treatment the arm was healed in two weeks and three days. The injured leg is as long as the other, and the boy did not have to use crutches, yet he was out walking in less than two months,—all due to Christian Science.
For the many blessings I have received I am indeed thankful to God, and grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
