I wish to express my love and thankfulness to God, and my gratitude to our revered Leader, for the many blessings I have received through the understanding of God as revealed by the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I found Christian Science to be the "pearl of great price." I did not come to it for physical healing; I was led to investigate this demonstrable truth by reading articles against Mrs. Eddy and her teachings in one of the monthly magazines.

Over four years ago, while reading Science and Health, I was healed of chronic bronchitis, from which I had suffered every winter for years. I was also able to discard glasses which I had worn for several years, the physician having told me that I would always have to use them. These effective demonstrations proved to me that Christian Science is the Christ-teaching, that God is the great Physician, and that when we are healed by God, our healing is permanent. I have never had any return of these ailments.

I am very grateful for all the Christian Science literature which our revered Leader has so lovingly provided for us, and I cannot express my gratitude for the understanding of God as divine Principle. I have proved the power of Truth by applying this understanding, no matter what the problem was, and it has destroyed every sense of error.
