I came to Christian Science to be healed of deafness, from which I had suffered since my childhood. The practitioner worked patiently for a long time, as my fear was very great. I can now say that although to mortal sense my hearing is not yet perfect, it is very much improved, for which I am indeed thankful. I have also been healed of rheumatism in my back which formerly kept me in bed for a couple of weeks at times, suffering severely. Some years ago I had six of my teeth extracted without the slightest pain; it was the most satisfying demonstration I have ever experienced.

For all this I am deeply thankful, and especially for the overcoming of fear, which held me in bondage in consequence of the sickness and sorrow I had passed through from my childhood. I am deeply grateful for all the help received in Christian Science.—Clara Zetterstrom, Evanston, Ill.
