[Written for the Sentinel]

Our Harvest

This little thought I'd give to you,
If you would to yourself be true:
If love you crave, then love bestow,
And love you'll find where'er you go.

For we shall reap of what we sow,
Of joy or gladness, pain or woe.
If love we sow, our harvest's sure,
If thoughts be right and motives pure.
