I am deeply grateful for the help that Christian Science has been in our home. About four and a half years ago we were fortunate in coming to live near one who had experienced its benefits and was happy to offer the truth to others. This lady soon saw how badly we need the truth, as my little boy was under hospital treatment when we came here. He was more than a year old when the doctor said he had not a normal bone in his body, and though he had gained a little strength under medical treatment, his legs were still badly deformed. After a few months' treatment in Christian Science, however, he became quite straight, and from being a delicate little creature he has for a long time now been one of the healthiest and happiest of children.

I also had been an out-patient at one of the hospitals for several months, for in addition to other ailments I was said to have had a misplaced kidney, which was not only painful but it prevented me from doing many duties, as I was quite unable to get through a day without lying down. The last time I saw the doctor he said I might need an operation at any time ; but I did not fear that, as I would rather die than go on living as I was, a burden and worry to all concerned. Thanks to Christian Science, that trouble has long been a thing of the past. It always seemed so strange to me that the best people I knew were as a rule the greatest sufferers.

I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the beautiful way in which she shows us that "God is Love," and that He is not responsible for the ills that come to mortals. Words cannot express our thanks for the numerous blessings we have received.—Mrs. A. Lowth, Mansfield, England.
