I wish to express my gratitude for the quick healing of my little boy through Christian Science. About five years ago he was attacked with a serious throat affection, and had to be removed to a hospital, where he was detained for nearly six weeks. This was before I heard of Christian Science. In August, 1911, all of the former symptoms again appeared,—high fever, delirium, etc., with great weakness,—and although I had been studying Science and Health, and attending the Christian Science services for about a year and a half, and knew Christian Science to be the Comforter promised by Jesus, yet when I saw my boy so ill to mortal sense I was in great fear. I went to a Christian Science practitioner, however, and asked her to give him absent treatment, and immediately my fears disappeared. This was about eight o'clock in the evening, and by next morning all was well. He was quite bright, asked for breakfast, and was down-stairs that afternoon. Except for a sense of weakness for a few days, he was as well as ever. This was a great proof to me of the healing power of divine Truth as demonstrated in Christian Science.
