I feel it my duty to write and express my thanks to God for the aid given my dear wife, who through the blessings of Christian Science is now completely recovered from a serious illness. As I look back on those weary months experienced by my poor wife and myself I am unspeakably grateful, for one could not help feeling the seriousness of her illness, when from a healthy young woman she became a physical and mental wreck. She could not eat and would lie awake all night long, until her very existence seemed intolerable to her, in fact she often talked of death and was totally uninterested in her household affairs and her little children. Doctors and medicine were of no avail, and nothing we could do was of any use, until at last I began to despair of her recovery.

Nevertheless, through the dark cloud there came a silver stream of light, for we heard of Christian Science. So I sent my wife to Melbourne, where, through the power of divine Love, she came into Christian Science and is now fully recovered and regenerated. Where material aid and all else failed, Christian Science and divine Love succeeded. I was at first a skeptic, but I am coming to see each day the blessing and health to be gained from Mrs. Eddy's teachings, and if this testimony will be of use to any poor sufferers, I trust they will not fail to read it.
