It is with a heart overflowing with gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and mine that I add my testimony to those of many others. It is now nearly six years since I was healed through the reading of two copies of the Christian Science Sentinel. I was at that time a mental and physical wreck, with three small children and no hope of ever being well, but after reading the Sentinel from nine o'clock in the evening until four in the morning, I forgot myself, and drank deep of the spiritual things therein offered, for I was hungering and thirsting for the truth that makes free. I retired knowing that God reigns, and when I awakened in the morning my first thought was that God's presence is everywhere and there was nothing to fear. Then I was suddenly overcome with the thought that I was desperately ill, but made up my mind to resist evil and that it would flee from me. After calling on God many times for help, I was able to walk, and about eleven o'clock these words of the Master came to me: "Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." I had not seen any of the wonderful things about which I had read in the Sentinel, but I knew that with God all things are possible. When these words came to me I was instantaneously healed of what physicians called a malignant disease of the stomach, rheumatic trouble, contraction of muscles, female trouble, and other ills. From that day to this I have never been sick. I have been able since that time, through the daily reading of the Lesson-Sermons and the study of the Bible and Science and Health, to evercome any attacks that have come to me. My three children have had some wonderful healings, one having been healed instantly of a very bad burn. Another was healed quickly of an open wound, the fleshy part of the hand being laid open by falling from a tree on some glass. On this day I had been reading Mrs. Eddy's "Unity of Good," and it was very clear to my thought that God is All; so I washed out the wound, declaring the truth to my boy.

I have seen many cases healed through the application of Christian Science,—many so-called incurable diseases, where the glory of God was manifested. I want to say that I love the Christian Science literature. Many times have I seen my little one healed through the singing of our Leader's hymn, "Shepherd, show me how to go."

For all these blessings I am deeply grateful, and pray that I may live the Science each day and give it out to all who are hungering, as I was, for this truth.
