For many years I suffered with attacks of rheumatism, which grew more severe with every year, although I would secure medical help at once in every instance. The medicines used had a detrimental effect upon the heart action, and in June, 1910, the last attack, which was the severest, resulted in a paralysis that it seemed impossible to overcome. My attention was then called to the beneficent work accomplished through Christian Science, and I applied to a faithful practitioner with the request to take up treatment. I found loving assistance, and in a comparatively short time I was well, and am so today. A stomach and bowel trouble, which had caused me great inconvenience since childhood, has also completely disappeared.

Since my healing, my husband, my children, and myself have turned to God for help in cases of physical as well as of business disturbance, and we have always experienced help through God's great love. When bereft of very dear relatives through death, it was the knowledge of God's infinite love which comforted me and lifted me up. We will gratefully endeavor to act according to Jesus' teachings, and by reading diligently the Bible and our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," to enlarge and deepen our sense of God's goodness and love. Sincere thanks are due our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and also those who with loving patience have led us upon the right path.
