About six years ago an acquaintance led me to look into Christian Science. At that time I was extremely nervous, and hardly able to walk for fifteen minutes without a sense of failing strength. For sixteen years I experienced pain and discomfort and sought help from the physicians, who prescribed change of air, baths, and medicines, none of which, however, brought me relief. Seeing that it all remained unavailing, I turned to Christian Science, and when I realized what might be accomplished through its ministration, I clung to that wonderful teaching with every assertion of my being. Very soon I began to feel relief, and today I am made over new. God has granted me grace upon grace; everywhere, in my daily occupations, in my household work, I feel that the arms of the Almighty are beneath me. I will forever thank Him, and publish the tidings of His glory evermore, for He hath led me out of the wilderness and set my feet upon the way to the promised land. God hath comforted me, and hath caused His face to shine upon me.

The little understanding of Christian Science to which I had attained, enabled me last year to bring help in the case of an eight months' old child which since birth had been afflicted with an eruption of the head; it was completely healed, through the power of Truth, within eight weeks. May all my efforts be spent in fitting myself to help my fellow beings who are in distress, since "the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few." I am thankful to God, and grateful to our faithful Leader, Mrs. Eddy, from the depths of my heart for Christian Science.
