The privilege of expressing gratitude for what Christian Science...

The privilege of expressing gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me is one of which I should have availed myself long before this. The blessing of an instantaneous healing of organic trouble of many years' standing, was mine five years ago. Every remedy known to materia medica, including operations, had been tried, all to no purpose, with the result that existence seemed a failure; but from this darkened sense the light of Christian Science restored me to the true consciousness of life and health. A year ago a seriously injured arm was also healed, with minor ills too numerous to mention; but over and above all that human language can express, is an overwhelming sense of gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me spiritually. The gradual insight and unfoldment of the Bible through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," also the help derived from our other literature, fills my consciousness with the desire to be obedient to the law of God, "from whom all blessings flow." I am also grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her consecrated life and selflessness in elucidating this truth which heals and uplifts.—Helen Lindroth, Providence, R. I.
