I am glad to tell of my healing, with the hope that some other sufferer may be led to accept this great truth, Christian Science. For fifteen years I was an invalid, and was gradually growing worse. Seven different physicians pronounced my illness a serious lung trouble, and they said that every organ in my body was affected. At times I would have severe distressed spells, when I was obliged to take an opiate. A cousin came to visit me in July, 1910, and she asked me why I did not try Christian Science, saying that it would surely help me. I inquired what it was and said I would try anything. On her return home she sent me some books. I read and studied them, and found myself gradually gaining. I can now truthfully say that I am a well woman, doing my own housework, washing included. My husband has been cured of the tobacco habit.

I wish to express my gratitude to God, and my thankfulness to Mrs. Eddy for showing us how to know God aright.

Mrs. Stephen D. Wood, North Brewster, Mass.
