I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and what it has done for me; for our dear Leader who was brave enough and loving enough to make known the truth to us; for our wonderful periodicals, and for those who have so lovingly helped to show me the way.

I was religiously brought up and thought I knew something of the Bible, but having been sickly all my life and weighed down with many fears, I finally turned from any own seemingly fruitless prayers, determined to use only what I understood of the Lord's Prayer: "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." I was, however, all confused as to God's will, but within a week some Christian Science literature was given me to read, and I knew that my prayer was answered, for the true import of the words omnipotent and omnipresent so appealed to me that I was healed while reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I accepted it all as a child takes food, and words cannot express the joy which was mine at that time. The Bible became a new book to me. This was some years ago, and it has seemed necessary for me to go through very deep waters to "prove all things," but I have surely learned that God is what the Scriptures declare Him to be, namely, "All in all."
