For those who have doubted the efficacy of Christian Science in the healing of disease, I rejoice to send this testimony. I had suffered for a number of years from an abnormal growth without fully realizing my condition, but finally, when plans were matured for a year of foreign study, a physician's diagnosis made an operation seem imperative. I, however, resorted at once to Christian Science treatment, and was healed some months later in Munich, Germany. While there, during the winter of 1910-11, I consented, at the urgent solicitation of anxious friends, to submit to a medical examination, with the result that the healing was frankly acknowledged by an eminent specialist of that city.

To the student of Christian Science, physical healing, marvelous as it seems, is but the visible sign of spiritual regeneration, which is the unspeakable gift, the sure heritage, of the Christian Scientist.
