It is with great joy that I testify to what Christian Science has done for me, though words fail to tell the whole of it. It has been a light upon my path, which has revealed the way out of material beliefs unto a more perfect knowledge of the Life that is God, good. It has taught me the significance of Jesus' words, "Take no thought for your life," and from having to take thought for what I should eat, and what I should drink, I have learned that to seek "first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness," does add "all these things" unto us. And how much more profitable is the occupation of seeking God and His righteousness than the pursuit of materiality! How true are the words, "Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace," for this is "the peace . . . which passeth all understanding"! So many discordant conditions in my experience have vanished, that it now seems but a dream. Christian Science has set my feet upon a rock, the rock of spiritual understanding, which reveals a perfect creator and His perfect creation, and this has sent me on my way rejoicing.
Can we ever be too grateful for the wonderful light which now shines upon our path, the same light that has been shining in darkness down through the ages, though the darkness comprehended it not? And can we ever be grateful enough to the one who, waiting and watching, saw the light of Truth, and proclaimed its joyful significance to a weary world?
Since coming into Christian Science, three years ago, I have had many beautiful demonstrations of the power of Truth over error, and have seen the truth reflected in the lives of many others. I am truly grateful for this revelation of Truth, the "Christ, who is our life," and to whose fulness we must and will attain, and my earnest desire is that my light may so shine that it will reflect "peace, good will toward men."—Ruby S. Tinsley, Roanoke, Va.
