About three years ago I had a bad growth on my face, which had been developing for four years. During the last six months it became so much worse that I had no rest either day or night. My husband wanted me to go to a doctor, but I hesitated because I was afraid of an operation. I did go finally, and the doctor said that the growth should be removed as soon as I could get ready. This was a few days before Christmas, so I made arrangements for the operation the week after Christmas. In the mean time I was down-town and met a friend, who asked why I did not try Christian Science. I said I had not faith enough in it. I knew it was good, but I did not think it could help me. She said, "Why not try a few treatments, and then if you do not get any help, you can go to the hospital."

Well, I came home, and the more I thought of it the more I felt I would try Christian Science. I was suffering till I thought I could not bear it any longer, so I got up and put on my wraps and went to see a friend who is a practitioner, and I told her all about it and how I felt toward Christian Science. She said there was no need for me to go to the hospital or to have my face cut, so I decided to take treatment, and in about two hours after I went home I felt the pain gently go out of my face, and it has never returned, thanks to Christian Science. My husband came home after a while, and as he looked at me he said, "Why, that purple is all going out of your face; maybe it is going to get better;" but I did not tell him I had been to see a practitioner. I had not slept for weeks, but when I lay down in my bed that night, sweet sleep came to me, and I did not wake until morning. When I did awake, my husband was walking around on his toes for fear he would wake me; but I got up, and at breakfast I told him all, and it made him very happy. My face got better, and how grand the healing is!

Since that time I have had a bad fall, and though no bones were broken I was much bruised. I had Christian Science treatment and was able to be up very soon. I hope my testimony may help others, for I know that God is good.
