When through divine Providence I first heard of Christian Science...
When through divine Providence I first heard of Christian Science five months ago, at times for thirteen years I had been a sufferer from very severe attacks of headache, and although I had frequently sought to obtain relief through materia medica, I never got rid of the trouble. For several years I had also been afflicted with rheumatism, which often made walking very difficult, and I was inconvenienced for quite a while with a bladder trouble.
As the material remedies applied brought but temporary relief in every instance, I soon lost all faith in them, and then I turned to Christian Science. Through a practitioner who upon my request took up treatment, I was lovingly made acquainted with this teaching and led in the way of Truth. I put all my trust and all my hope in the healing power of divine, omnipotent Love, and after a few weeks experienced the benefits derived through this glorious realization of Truth. Today I am free from all disease, feel healthier and happier than I ever did before, and joyfully give thanks to God, whom I long ago recognized to be the true helper at all times and under all circumstances. I am grateful for all the blessings which have come to me through Christian Science, also thankful to our revered Leader for pointing out the way.
