I have felt for some time that I must express through the Sentinel my gratitude for Christian Science. It found me, about three years ago, a miserable invalid, supposedly going into a rapid decline; in fact, people who saw me on the first day of 1909 said I could not live a month; but before the month was up, a dear cousin sent me some copies of the Sentinel and some pamphlets, all of which I eagerly read. The testimonies appealed to me, and I thought that if others could be healed by reading Science and Health, surely I could; so I immediately sent for a copy of the book, and through its study a truly wonderful change has been wrought in our home. My mother took up the study with me, and I could write pages of the blessing it has brought to us, in the healing of both sin and sickness. I have had the great privilege of class instruction, and never can I find words with which to express my gratitude for it, also for our Leader's wise and loving provision for students' associations.

I count it a wonderful opportunity to express publicly my appreciation of Christian Science and the healing power of divine Truth and Love. I am indeed thankful for the many things I have been able to meet through the right understanding of God, but when I think of all the pain and sorrow and sin from which it saves me, I am more grateful still.
