It is with pleasure I tell of my healing through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" thirteen years ago. I feel that the time has come for me to acknowledge to the world my wonderful healing, for it may help some one who is suffering in like manner. For twenty-three years I had been under medical treatment continually, for a rectal trouble, but no cure came of it. I had been told by physicians here and elsewhere that nothing but surgery would cure me. But thanks to Christian Science, Truth and Love have made me free. I am well, and have been all these years. Before I was healed I could not do any of my heavy household work. I was sick and miserable all of the time, but now I am able to do all of my work, and I have had five in my family most of the time. With the understanding of Christian Science which I have I am able to meet and overcome all the difficulties that have made their appearance in my family, such as rheumatism, fever, and throat trouble. I am deeply grateful to God, also to Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us in Science and Health how to know God.
