I wish to express my gratitude for my healing. In December, 1909, I was a total wreck,—morally, physically, and financially. I had been a very heavy drinker for twenty years, had lost my position from this, and was about to lose my home. At that time I was heavily in debt, and thought the only thing to do was to take my life. At this time a lady called at my home and I went with her, though under the influence of liquor, to see a Christian Science practitioner. From that day I have never had a desire for intoxicants of any kind. Inside of two weeks I had a position, then my debts commenced to disappear. In March, 1910, I took another position, the best I have ever held. Since coming to Christian Science I have also been healed of rheumatism in the feet and legs, a trouble of years' standing.

As grateful as I am for all this, I am far more grateful for the regeneration that has come into my life, and for the earnest desire which I have to know more of this truth and to live it daily so as to help all mankind. For all this I am truly thankful to God, also to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.—William H. Collard, New York, N. Y.
