DAWN

As in the long, dark watches of the night
We fix our gaze to catch a beam,
However faint, of morning light,
And, waiting, see at last the sun's bright gleam,

So after seasons long of dark within,—
Of struggle for release in vain,—
We see the dawn of Truth, and win
At length the radiance full, for Love doth reign!
