My heart is so full of love and gratitude to God, because I have been healed in Christian Science, both in body and mind, and so long as I keep this before me I know that nothing can separate me from my faith in God and Christian Science. I was a sufferer from stomach trouble periodically for about ten years. I had the advice and skill of seven different doctors, besides trying many medicines, but all to no purpose. I had almost begun to believe that I had a malignant disease of the stomach, when as a last resort (I am ashamed to say) I took up Christian Science, and two treatments, with the study of Mrs. Eddy's inspired works, cured me.

I had been a professed Christian and church-member for twenty-eight years, and during that time I had many enjoyable days, but since I have been permitted to see the light of Truth as explained by one who took up the Master's teachings where the churches had left off, my heart is continually full to overflowing with love and gratitude to God. Such peace I did not think possible for any one to experience here; it certainly passes all understanding. My case was like that of the drowning man. I caught at what I thought was a straw, but found it to be a life-line, and it brought me to the ship loaded with passengers and going where I wanted to go. I thank God, and rejoice always.
