I am profoundly grateful for Christian Science. For fourteen years Truth has been my only physician and comforter, and has never failed me. For years I was troubled with paroxysms of pain which lasted several hours, often being so violent that I would have to ask the help of a Christian Science practitioner. Usually I had an attack twice a year, and in the winter of 1910, while visiting my home in Virginia, about twelve miles from Washington, this terrible suffering attacked me. I immediately telephoned for help, but it was thirty-six hours, more or less, before I was relieved. A large gall-stone was passed, and there has been no return of the malady.

There is not a day in which I am not helped constantly by this wonderful truth. I am truly grateful for The Christian Science Monitor, which brings a message of truth every day.
