The gratitude one feels for the countless blessings received in Christian Science can never be expressed in words, but it is with the hope of helping some sufferer who may be reached through the Sentinel that I give my testimony. Christian Science found me, about six years ago, a great sufferer from what the doctors called a chronic disease of the stomach and bowels. I had been unable to retain food for seven months, and was finally told that nothing would cure me. I then had one week's treatment in Christian Science and was healed. I also had a very large hernia, and had worn a truss for fifteen years, but I was healed of this while going through class, by an illustration which showed man's relation to God. I have done all my work since that time without any return of the trouble.

I am thankful for this healing, because it was the means of my studying Science and Health, and thus gaining an understanding of the Bible and of God as perfect Principle. This enables us to work out every problem that confronts us in our daily lives. Through the study of Christian Science I have learned to love my enemies, to think good thoughts and reject evil ones. I have found that in every walk of life Christian Science is all we need, and I am deeply grateful daily, hourly, to God, also to Mrs. Eddy for this truth. I have had many proofs of the power of Truth to heal, and the spiritual uplift I have had means more than all else. It has brought peace and harmony into my life and has enabled me to help others.
