The Sentinel is ever welcomed by me with joy, and as I am always anxious to pass it on to comfort another hungering heart, through it I would like to send a few words of cheer as a slight expression of my gratitude for this divine Science.

At the age of twenty-nine, I seemed to have lived my entire life, and felt that there was no suffering left, either mental or physical, for me to know. I prayed for death, that I might join my husband, babies, parents, and other loved ones gone before. I was also suffering from the after results of a severe form of the disease known as "milk-leg," a nervous affection, bowel trouble, and failing sight,—having worn strong glasses for fifteen years. Through the aid of a loving messenger of Truth I have been wonderfully helped and healed, and so has my sister, of nervous and stomach trouble, also of imperfect sight. We are Southerners, from Barbados, B. W. I., and are now "warmed by the sunshine of Truth and watered by the heavenly dews of Love" (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 343). We hope to prove worthy followers of our beloved Leader.
