Over five years ago I came to Christian Science for healing from sorrow, having lost two little ones in eleven months time. In losing them I also lost my God, whom I then believed to be a God of affliction. Now I am learning of God who is Love, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, a God who does not afflict any of His little ones. The Bible, and "Science and health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, are now my daily companions. The Bible is a new book to me. It is indeed an open book, illumined by "the Spirit of truth."

I thank God for His love and tender care, and for giving us Mrs. Eddy to point out the living way. I am thankful for the Christian Science periodicals, and to those who have so lovingly helped me to find God. I write these lines, hoping they will lead some one to find comfort in Christian Science, as I have done.
