I wish to give thanks to God for the many blessings which I have received through Christian Science. A year ago, when I first heard of it, had just undergone an operation, and everything seemed to be well, when, upon taking up my work I had a severe relapse, and the physician told me that I would never be able to do heavy work again. It seemed as if could get no relief, and the pain was unbearable. A kind neighbor then went to a Christian Science practitioner, who came to see me immediately, spoke words of comfort, and gave me an absent treatment that same evening. I slept much better during the following night, and after a few days the pain disappeared entirely, so that I was able to take up my work again. I now enjoy better health than ever before in my life, and I am deeply grateful for all the good that I have experienced through Christian Science. I could tell of many more experiences of how God's love and presence has been revealed to me almost hourly, and I thank Him with all my heart. I am also grateful to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
