One time it was my pleasure to stand in the bow of a boat going up Georgian bay, when the wind was blowing and when we were racing with a thunder-storm. The lightning flashed and the long feathery fingers of the storm-cloud reached far down, but with perfect confidence in our pilot we greatly enjoyed weaving in and out among the islands until at last the storm was left behind. Thus it is when our lives are guided by divine Truth, which pilots us safely through the storms of error into peaceful waters and we realize that the one Mind rules all.

No words or deeds of mine can express the gratitude I feel toward God for having been thus guided. We have always had the same God, but His power was unknown to me until Mrs. Eddy's book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," opened the way to an understanding of the Bible. From having been a weak, nervous woman, bowed down with fears of inherited disease, the truth thus revealed has made me free to live and work and enjoy man's God-given dominion.
