I desire to add my testimony to the many others that have been given in the hope that some mother may be helped as I have been. I have had many beautiful demonstrations of Truth's power since becoming a follower of Christian Science as revealed in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, but this one seems the greatest to me just now. My little baby girl, one year and a half old, climbed to the window-sill and drank gasoline from a bottle which had been left there. The practitioner on whom we call was out of town, but our maid, who is a Christian Scientist, took the child up and declared the truth for her at once. I was so frightened that I seemed not to know what to do at the time, as the baby seemed nearly gone. In about two hours, however, she was perfectly well, running about the house, playing and laughing in her usual manner.

We are indeed grateful to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has given to the world the spiritual understanding of the Bible, making such blessings as the above possible here and now. The Master said, "If they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them." In Christian Science we prove these words true.
