While my daughter and I have been in Christian Science for over ten years, and have been healed of many ills of the flesh, this is the first time we have sent in our testimony to the Sentinel; but if I should try to tell of all the blessings we have had in our home, I would take up too much space. Before my daughter and I were healed through Christian Science, we traveled a great deal to health resorts, and sought change of climate, but we did not receive benefit. I had been operated upon many times for throat trouble, but got no relief, and we did not know what a good night's sleep was with our little girl until she was seven years old. Then, through a dear friend, Christian Science came to our home, and we accepted the teachings given in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. We also took treatment, and were healed in two weeks' time; and then we slept peacefully and enjoyed all our other blessings. I was perfectly healed of the throat trouble and of a bowel disorder of many years' standing, in the two weeks. I was also healed of a sense of dislike for some people, so that now I can see the good in every one and realize that we are all God's children.

After living in Akron for twenty-nine years, and being healed by Christian Science, my many friends, seeing the remarkable change in me, also in my daughter, marvel and say that Christian Science has surely made great change in us. At first there were only three or four interested in Christian Science in Akron, but now they have grown to many in number and have a nice church building in a pleasant part of the town. In the spring of 1909 we moved to Bowman, N. D., to make our home. I did not know any Christian Science people here, but I trusted I should find them if there were; and our first week here we found another who had been healed through Christian Science and was a follower of its teachings.

We as a family are very happy and thankful for the teachings of Christian Science, and find that it explains the Bible very clearly. I am glad to tell of the healing power of Christian Science, and am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for having given us in Science and Health the truth that makes us free.
