It is with great pleasure and thankfulness to God that I tell what Christian Science has done for me. I daily thank Him for having revealed this truth through one who has ever been faithful in holding aloft the banner of purity, peace, and health.

In June, 1908, when I visited my sister, I was suffering greatly with my eyes, being unable to read or sew. I had forgotten my glasses and was thinking only of material aid. Not having any faith in Christian Science, but believing it to be a courtesy due her, I asked my sister to treat my eyes. I shall never forget her beautiful faith in God, and her knowledge of His care,—His love and protection over us,—and I was impressed with her calm assurance. I wanted to know how I could worship God "in spirit and in truth." After I left, she gave me one other absent treatment, and that was all. Although I thought I should surely be troubled again, I was not. For many years, while in school, I have had to give up my studies for weeks at a time, and since then have been unable to read or sew, although I had been fifted with glasses at four different times, but this did not seem to be of any permanent benefit. I had always been told that I had inherited the trouble, but thanks to the clear understanding gained by my sister through the Bible as interpreted in Science and Health, the touch of divine Love has forever dispelled the mist which clouded my physical and mental vision.

After more than a year devoted to its teachings, I can truly say that I have found Christian Science to be the "pearl of great price." I pray that I may so live as to reflect the harmony of divine Love, which has been made known to us by our Leader as God's kingdom.
