I am indeed thankful for the benefits I have received and am continually receiving through Christian Science,—thankful to God, who is Life, Truth, and Love, and thankful to the one who is the loved channel for this truth to us. I have been healed of several physical ailments with the aid of practitioners and also by knowing the truth for myself. The healing of my eyes and the laying off of my glasses were accomplished by the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I have not had my glasses on since, and although I have suffered at times, I know the truth, and have not had a return of pain or inconvenience for several months. I am doing very close work as associate editor on a banking magazine, and am in full charge of the paper a part of the time, so I have need of my sight. I pray for a full understanding of Christian Science more than for anything else in the world, for it means all; and to have received and realized even one benefit only, tends to make one cry out incessantly for more.

How shall I repay Mrs. Eddy the debt of gratitude I owe? By reverencing her as the one accounted worthy to declare the healing truth in this age, and by living in the consciousness of good at all times. The writers in all the Christian Science periodicals seem to know just what I need. Before the Journal, the Sentinel, or the Monitor is opened. I know that I shall find just the word of advice, of cheer, of comfort along the way, that I am longing for.
