Nothing could measure my gratitude to God for the many...

Nothing could measure my gratitude to God for the many benefits I have received through Christian Science. Since I first became interested in Science, over seven years ago, it has helped me in innumerable ways and healed me of many ills. Among these were sleeplessness, acute stomach and bowel disorders, throat trouble, and numerous other ailments. In my profession, that of the stage, Christian Science is of the greatest help, and over and over again it has enabled me to go on and do my work when in former years I should have been obliged to "lay off." It has also taught me to love people and to see only the best things in their characters, and when we do this it is surprising how they blossom out and become really lovely. I have seen the most discordant atmosphere changed in this way.

I have surely a great deal to be thankful for; and my prayer is that each day I may gain a little more of this wonderful truth. We certainly do owe many thanks to Mrs. Eddy for her great courage in giving to the world "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which points out and explains the teachings of the Bible so that the people of this age may find in them a strong and never-failing help in their daily life.
