In submitting this testimony of the benefits derived by myself from Christian Science, I do so with a desire to convey to others my heartfelt gratitude for the divine guidance that assisted me to my present state of health and happiness. Nine years ago I began to suffer with various ailments, and was continually under medical treatment. I was examined by many different physicians, who said I was a victim to female trouble. My eyes pained me severely, and I was told that the trouble was organic and could not be cured. I suffered greatly from a nervous affection, and by the frequent use of an opiate, which the physicians administered to alleviate my suffering, I was fast becoming a victim to the drug habit as a source of relief to my mental and physical condition.
The time and cost of Christian Science treatment was in marked contrast to the nine years of suffering and the considerable amount of money expended for medical treatment, as were also the results obtained. I am now in perfect health—thanks to Christian Science; have thrown away my glasses, and abandoned the use of medicine entirely. I could write pages in support of Christian Science, but will not trespass on the space further. I shall ever be thankful to God for the great blessings bestowed through Mrs. Eddy for the benefit of suffering human beings.
Mrs. Isabel Wathen, Mineral Wells, Tex.
