It is with great pleasure that I write to express my deep gratitude for all the help that Christian Science has brought me. For some years I suffered from an eye trouble which seemed to produce headaches, and I was unable to read or write without glasses. I was, however, completely healed of this complaint at the first Christian Science testimony meeting I attended. Later, when I had a serious affection of the veins of one leg, which is considered by doctors to be a disease that is tedious to cure, I was healed of it very quickly through Christian Science treatment.

I have heard people say that Mrs. Eddy's book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," is expensive, but when we consider the large amount many of us used to spend on materia medica, which so often failed to help us, the price of this book seems very small, for the study of it brings health, strength, and happiness; thus making life worth living. Christian Science also taught me to understand the Bible and to care for it. I feel that I cannot be thankful enough to God for this truth, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who does so much to show us how to follow this wonderful teaching. —Miss M. Bacon, London, England.
