I wish to express my deep gratitude for what Christian Science...
I wish to express my deep gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and my family. It has been a little over three years since we first commenced the study of Christian Science. Prior to that time some one of the family was constantly under a doctor's care, but now this wonderful truth meets our every need. Our little daughter of eight years was very delicate from her birth, and a number of physicians said we would never raise her Three years ago she was a very frail, nervous child, but now, after only a few treatments in Christian Science, she is as strong and healthy as most girls of her age, and attends school regularly.
A wonderful proof that "the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder . . . of the joints and marrow," came to us when our little boy's wrist, which had been out of joint for hours, was instantly restored through an absent treatment. In less than five minutes after we called for help over the telephone, my boy came to me, pressing the injured hand backward with the other and telling me it was well. And so it was! Even the evidence of there having been anything the matter with it had disappeared. The practitioner had little more than time to leave the telephone, before I again called her up to tell her the joyful news.
About five years ago, our oldest boy, now over thirteen years old, had an attack of throat trouble which left him with a weak heart, and he could not run and play like other boys. Today he, too, is a strong, healthy boy, able to take his place anywhere, as the result of only a few treatments. Our youngest child was healed of a constant cough, in one treatment, by explaining to him that God did not make him cough. He accepted the truth of this statement very quickly though only four years old.
