The psalmist said, "O give thanks unto the Lord: call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people." It is with thanks to God for the good we have received through Christian Science that I will make known the healing power of Truth. For six years I suffered constantly from stomach, liver, and bowel trouble, at times being very ill, and was under the care of a physician most of the time. I was treated by several physicians, tried mineral springs, dieting, electricity, and everything I could hear of, but found very little relief.

In March, 1907, my health was so poor that I turned to Christian Science and found help immediately. The first treatment was given me late in the afternoon, and by night the pain and fever were gone and I slept all night. I was healed in eight treatments, and have had good health ever since. While having some dental work done I had one treatment for nervousness, and this fear left me and did not return. Catarrhal trouble disappeared without special treatment and I feel that I have been made free indeed.

My husband, who is a traveling salesman, also needed help, as he had not been well for about five years, at times being unable to travel for several weeks at a time. He had catarrhal, stomach, liver, and bowel trouble, and every winter would bring an attack of malaria, for which there seemed to be no cure, as he had tried every material remedy. Seeing the proof of Christian Science healing in my case, he began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. His health improved, but he did not entirely give up the use of medicine until December, 1907, when he had one Christian Science treatment, and he now has perfect health. Several times he had tried to give up the use of tobacco, but could not. Since coming to Christian Science, however, the desire for tobacco has disappeared.
