"Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest," said our Saviour. Christian Scientists know what he meant. Christian Science came to me as the good Samaritan when the illusions of mortal mind were making so-called life a burden,—a continuous evil dream,—lifted me above it, and showed me its unreality. Kind friends, whose loving character makes them stand as lights in the world, have helped me over the difficult places. I have much to overcome, and often stumble, but I am going ahead, trusting that divine Love will take care of His children. I wish to testify here to the uniform loving-kindness manifested by Christian Scientists I have met, sometimes under trying circumstances. It is time that this public acknowledgment should be made, for we ought to give all glory to God, who has given us through Mrs. Eddy this beautiful and practical exposition of the teaching of our Master, Christ Jesus.
