I am glad to tell what the truth did for several members of my family, who were healed solely by Christian Science treatment, without the aid of any physician, in the case of an eruptive fever. My oldest boy was the first attacked. He had high fever, cough, an eruption, etc. My wife immediately telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner for help, and the board of health was promptly notified that there was a case of illness in our household and that we were going to rely wholly on Christian Science treatment. A doctor immediately visited us, and placed a notice on our front door. The boy commenced to improve at once, and on the fourth day he was entirely well, playing around as if nothing had happened. Meanwhile, however, the disease had developed in the rest of the family, the two youngest children having severe attacks, the next boy a very light attack, and my wife and daughter being apparently very ill. For two days my wife was unable to move out of bed, but the third day she commenced to improve, and by the end of the week no more treatments were necessary. The board of health was notified a second time when the others came down with the disease, and again a doctor visited us and made another examination. Finally, at the end of the second week, the last examination was made and the notice removed from the door.

We received very courteous treatment from the board of health throughout, although we told them at each visit that we were relying wholly on Christian Science. The healing of these six members of my family was perfect, with no bad after-effects in any case.
