We have had some very wonderful demonstrations made for us through the understanding of Christian Science. My mother, who is eighty years of age, has been helped, healed of many things, through this truth. Something over a year ago she was burned very severely. We, however, applied nothing material, but she received help from a loving friend and practitioner in Christian Science, and the healing seemed almost miraculous. The burn was of such a nature that I could scarcely bear to look at it, but with Christian Science treatment it was beautifully healed in a very short time.

Just following this unfortunate experience, a still greater trial seemed to overtake her. While we were moving she attempted to arrange some furniture, and a bookcase full of books fell on her, injuring her so seriously that she could not move, and in this helpless condition we found her. It was with great difficulty and much pain to her that we succeeded in removing her garments and getting her into bed. It was several days before she could move her limbs, but in about two weeks she was up and about as usual. These wonderful proofs of the power of infinite Love fill our hearts with gratitude for knowing that there is such a power in the universe to help those who are ready to accept it. Mere words cannot do justice to the demonstrations given in this testimony.
