I wish to tell of the wonderful healing that has come to...
I wish to tell of the wonderful healing that has come to me through Christian Science. was suffering from a very distressing form of abdominal trouble ; had been treated for nine years by ten different doctors, and had been operated upon at four different times. At last the doctors said they had done all they could for me. except one more operation, which, however, they thought likely I would not survive. Naturally I did not wish to go through this operation, and begged my husband not to allow it. I cannot write of the tortures which I suffered, but at last I was sent to another physician in a distant town, though I was obliged to stop on the way in order to gain strength to go on. Upon my arrival I made the acquaintance of a lady who had gone there to have treatment from a Christian Science practitioner, and she asked me to go with her to the practitioner. I knew that I had received all the help I could expect from the doctors, and was only too willing to try anything which would offer relief. At the end of one treatment in Christian Science I was very much better, and in three treatments I was completely healed and was able to leave off my supporter and truss. I went home and began doing my housework, and at times I had eight persons to cook for.
I am very grateful for the wonderful healing I have had, and wish to express my appreciation of the help given me to discern this wonderful truth, and of our faithful Leader, who still points the way for us.
