AMONG THE CHURCHES

First Church of Christ, Scientist, has outgrown Woodmen Hall, where it now worships, and the Adelphian Hall has been leased in order to accommodate the growing congregation. The lot opposite the new Adelphian Club, at the southwest corner of Central Avenue and Walnut Street, has been purchased by First Church of Christ, Scientist, and a handsome edifice will be crected by the church in the spring. The lot is one hundred and fifty by one hundred and forty feet, and a large structure in the mission style will be built for the future home of the followers of the church. The interior will be spacious and artistic in design and will seat over eight hundred people.
