In one short year Christian Science has healed me of chronic stomach and bowel trouble, also of profanity, and as my understanding has increased, I have been able to overcome fear to a great extent and also to realize the nothingness of the habits of drinking and tobacco chewing. The latter, a habit of twenty-seven years' standing, was cured in one day when I realized that God is my only source of comfort, my only real companion. I insisted on this, knowing it to be true; tobacco lost its seeming power, and I have had no desire for it since. I have also advanced morally, and am slowly learning to resist evil by expressing and reflecting love, knowing that Truth will destroy all evil. I am deeply grateful for what Christian Science has done and is still doing for me.—Frank I. Wakefield, Washington, D. C.
