I wish to send my acknowledgment of what Truth has...
I wish to send my acknowledgment of what Truth has done for me. I feel I have not been grateful enough, and of late especially I have tried to be more thankful and am glad of this opportunity to express my gratitude. I have known of Christian Science about four years and a half. Soon after I began to read Science and Health I was healed of headache and tiredness. About a year after that I had trouble with my limb,—no severe pain, but it was swollen and very abnormal looking. Soon after the trouble began I had to go to town, and when I got into the car I saw that every seat was occupied. A day or so after this the swelling seemed to be much worse, so that I could not wear a stocking, but I did my housework all the time, except once, when I made a hard day's work easy and suffered the most pain. I was healed in about five weeks, and during that time I read from Science and Health several times a day.
I remember saying, when I first knew of Christian Science, that I had nothing to learn in the way of loving, whatever else I had to learn, but the hardest lesson I have had in the last few months has been to love the spiritual instead of seeing and hating its seeming opposite. I am, however, very thankful to say that the light is breaking in that direction. I am very thankful, too, to God, and to our loving and brave Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for Christian Science.
Mrs. Grace M. Scholefield, Manningham, England.
