I am grateful for the daily help which the knowledge of Christian Science is to me, and for the sense of peace, joy, and freedom from anxiety and fear that has come to me through studying the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our Leader, Mrs. Eddy. Before studying this book I had no idea of the beauty of the Bible or of its practical value, and I am very glad indeed that I have been awakened to see its true worth. The Bible Lessons contained in the Christian Science Quarterly have been a great help to me. For the proofs of the power of Truth to heal I am very grateful and also for the loving help given me at different times. I have had many proofs of physical healing; fever, attacks of pain, a bad arm, and other troubles have been quickly met. I rejoice that I know something of the protecting power of right thinking, and that through trying always to think true thought I have been able so to protect myself that it is very seldom any inharmonious condition presents itself, and when it does it is quickly dispersed. I owe a great debt of gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for her loving example and for all her inspiring words, and I wish to show my appreciation of all she has done by using all I now know of the truth, that I may be enabled to demonstrate it more and gain a fuller understanding of it. For the Christian Science Sentinel and Journal I am very grateful; the articles and testimonies give one great encouragement.
