For five years Christian Science has been our only physician, and in a family of six this means many ills overcome by the power of Truth alone. One of our first demonstrations was the healing of my little daughter in the case of an epidemic trouble, the manifestation being present only twenty-four hours. I was very young in Science at that time, and was deeply impressed with this proof, from which I received a conviction of the absolute truth of Christian Science that has never left me. I have had two little ones born under Science treatment, and the wonderful results in both cases aroused the keenest interest in my neighbors and friends. I was about as usual after the first day on each of these occasions. The birth of the second little one was a perfect demonstration, suffering being entirely absent. The lady who attended me at the time of the birth, told me that she thanked God whenever she went to a home where they had Christian Science. For these physical benefits and many greater blessings I am indeed grateful to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
