I want to join with the many thousand followers of Christian Science in testifying to healing I have received. Three years ago I was requested by a friend of mine to try Christian Science, and he told me what good it had done him. I then had stomach trouble and a rupture. For the stomach trouble I had taken medicine for many years, and always thought it would get better, but instead it got worse. I had suffered from the rupture for six years, and was obliged to have a new truss every year, but after having Christian Science treatment for four weeks I did not need to use the truss, and the stomach trouble was also gone. As I was healed so quickly I wanted to know how the healing was done, so I took up the study of Science and Health and am now trying to help others as I was helped. I am very thankful to God, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for all the good that has come to me through Christian Science.
