AMONG THE CHURCHES
Second, Fifth, and Sixth Christian Science churches held a union service Thanksgiving morning at Second Church, Eleventh Street and Second Avenue, S. The occasion was indeed inspiring, and must have attracted the attention not only of those who are not Scientists, but even of the Scientists themselves. The spirit manifested was one of great joy and thanksgiving, and was exemplified in a spontaneous outburst of testimonies, which were sixty in number and all of them expressed love and gratitude to God and to our Leader for manifold blessings received. We had a very large number of people, completely filling the church, and it seemed as though the very atmosphere was permeated with joy and gratitude for Christian Science and for the privilege of uniting in the Thanksgiving service.
