THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MOTHER CHURCH

The annual meeting of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Mass., was held in The Mother Church edifice on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 11. The meeting was attended by more than two thousand local members of the Church, and also by a number from distant points, such as San Francisco, Chicago, Kansas City, Hong Kong, China, and Berlin, Germany. Reports received from branch churches throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe showed that our Cause is gaining in membership wherever it is established, and that much healing work is being done.

Early in the meeting a despatch to our Leader, which had been prepared by a committee, was read by Mr. Kimball, and upon the unanimous vote of those present it was forwarded to Mrs. Eddy. It was as follows:—
