Having received so much benefit myself from the Christians Science...
Having received so much benefit myself from the Christians Science literature, I have thought a great many times that I ought to show my appreciation by writing a testimony of my healing. I was led to Christian Science through the healing of my wife, in two days' treatment, of rheumatic trouble. At that time my wife bought it cloth bound copy of Science and Health, and I thought it was a very high-priced book; but after a while I began to read it, and it was not very long until I had a pocket edition of the text-book for my own use. By reading Science and Health I was healed of stomach trouble of some years' standing. Later on I asked for treatment for the smoking habit. I had stopped the chewing of tobacco before I came into Christian Science, but I still felt a craving for it. While under Christian Science treatment the desire for tobacco in any form left me. I have never lost a day from my work on account of sickness since I have been studying Christian Science, which is about seven years. For all this I return thanks to God, and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
Samuel G. Findley, Keokuk, Ia.
